Retro's Factions
A factions server for Minecraft Bedrock
Play old-school factions on your phone, tablet or Windows PC, in the same world as Java players.
Add the server in 4 steps
- Open Minecraft, tap Play, then the Servers tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Add Server.
- Name:
Retro's Factions. Address:play.retrosfactions.net. Port:443. - Tap Save, then tap the server to join.
Bedrock joins through the address play.retrosfactions.net, so typing a number IP won't work. If you can't connect, update Minecraft to the newest version and try again.
Bedrock and Java, one world
You're not on a separate Bedrock server. You play in the same world as everyone on Java, so you can join a Java player's faction, raid their base or team up for KOTH.
Everything works
Factions, claims, raiding, KOTH, the shop, the auction house, BedWars and the other mini games all work on Bedrock.
Menus
The shop, /ah, /cosmetics and the other menus open as chest menus you can tap.
Commands
Open chat and type commands like /f create or /shop, the same as on Java.
Same rewards
Votes, KOTH, the parkour and the season pass give Bedrock players exactly the same rewards.
Tips for mobile players
- Turn on split controls in the touch settings. Aiming and breaking blocks gets easier.
- Use
/f mapto see the claims around you in chat before you build. - Farm and sell. Farming pays well and doesn't need fast reactions, so it's a great way to earn on a phone.
- Stay out of the WarZone until you have good gear. PvP is always on there.
- Join a faction. A team with PC players to cover fights, plus you on farms and building, works really well.

Is there a factions server for Minecraft Bedrock?
Yes. Retro's Factions works on Bedrock. Add a server with the address play.retrosfactions.net and port 443. Bedrock and Java players play in the same world.

Can I play on Xbox, PlayStation or Switch?
Consoles don't have an Add Server button for outside servers, so they need a workaround. Phones, tablets and Windows PCs can add the server directly. Ask in the Discord for help with consoles.
